About every ten years during my career, I’ve taken a year off to experience something new and it’s always been a benefit. A year of Quebec immersion led to teaching in French-speaking schools; a year of world travel led to teaching overseas; and recently I spent four months working in a yoga retreat and investigating the science behind traditional medicine. During those four months I lived in a tent; there’s something Zen about having everything you own within arm’s reach.
My interests are yoga, archeology, cosmology, and other sciences.
